A sims 4 fan trying out the sims 3 and wow

I agree that TS4 and TS2 are pretty good looking. However when I buy a game I want to play it not watch it.
I guess it depends what and how you play that determines what you like in a game. I play the Sims 4 and I enjoy it a lot, I know it isn't perfect and there is still a lot of things I would like to see improved in the game such as better personalities for our sims.
I also played the Sims 2 from the very beginning and I loved it very much, I played it from the release day until Sims 3 came out.
Sims 3 was just not to my liking I guess. It's weird cause a lot of the things I see being praised in the Sims 3 were the things that I personally didn't like. I didn't like the way the sims looked, furniture styles, the colour wheels and I especially didn't like the store. I'd rather just get my extra content in packs like we did with all the other iterations. The only thing I really did like about TS3 was the open world minus all the rabbit hole venues. Sadly the one thing I did like about TS3 caused it to perform like I was running it on a potato so even though I did like that part of the game it's hard for me to praise it at the same time cause it caused so many problems for me.
I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this subject. ;)
