Wow... I never really thought about that pack in that way...
Yeah, dealing with a loss is one part of the pack. After all, there's the grief system that could change one of your sim's traits depending on how they cope with it. Plus for the player too. They could play the sim as a ghost, but eventually players can decide to let them go to the Great Beyond or have them rebirth into a new sim.
I never had trouble with death, but this pack has made the gameplay around it more interesting. Plus it has a lot of philosophical messages too, like doing everything you want before it's too late, letting go of those who has gone and embracing the new, is death really the end or is it a beginning of something new etc.
It's a good pack, I agree. And if it has these effects, it really shows its good quality. So yeah, I'm happy for you that in a way, that improved your gameplay experience.
