@Piperbird I don't want to see many things in my family inventory too. Sometimes, many items can make the game or loading slow down. Anyway, they are all multi sliced plants, so they need to be re planted again later on, so that's why I deleted after harvesting all.
In Sims 4, it's ok to leave some of those plants to be watered or weeded during day time. My sims just tend garden all the plants in one go twice a day, just before breakfast and after supper in the evening.
In the sims 3 and 4, I usually grow one each of all kind of plants, so there are around 15 -20 plants in my garden. It was great to do this way in the sims 3 because the quality of ingredients affect on the food quality directly but it's of no use to do this way in the sims 4. So I decided to grow certain rare plants only for keeping my sims' happiness with less work. :)
