I like the careers where we can chose to go to work or stay home and work but I wish when working from home we got more tasks and better pay. I haven't had much experience of these type of career beyond the military career at low level but the daily pay was awful and my sim was only required to do one simple task in a work day such as march around.
I very much enjoy the careers where we can accompany our sims to their work but it soon becomes repetitive repeating the same tasks each day. These career types would be my absolute favourite if they had more variation in daily tasks and activities.
So far I'm not hugely impressed with the freelance careers. I've tried the writing and digital artist but I feel like it's probably just easier and more fun to have my sims write and paint without the attached career. There is not enough career incentives in the freelance branch to make it worth the effort so far. It has no promotion system in place which makes it all seem a bit dull.
Rabbit holes are nice for sims that I want to pay less attention to.
