Actor Sim's adult son showing up on backlot

So I have a Sim in the Acting career. Twice now, her young adult son who is not in the Acting career, has shown up on the backlot. The first time, he was in his own household, although the second time, I had moved him back home.

Has this happened to anyone else? Was there a fix?

Is he employed? Giving him a job or a self employed title might help.

He is employed. But not always at work when his mom has a shooting. Also seems to have a glitch with his work, it constantly tells me he's trying to leave work early.

Does this happen when you open buy mode while he's at work?

Happened to me, I think with relative visiting always accompanied by "Hey i heard you are popular now" message, if it's bug I hope it become features because it really cool that your friends wanted to see you in action at the studio.

It happens in my game with Vanessa Jeong. Her boyfriend often shows up on the set of whatever she is filming. :D

Happened to me too. My sim's husband used to show up to all of her shoots. It was super annoying because he used to just get so tired and pass out on the floor. I thought it was a glitch.

So this is not a glitch? My sim husband comes to the set also. He also keep getting the option to leave work. Don't know what that's about

I think this is a bug that happens often if at some point in the game you gave the visiting sim an apartment key. After taking the key away, my husband didn't come again to the film set.

My actor sims father often shows up. I think it's sweet he is so proud of her. He has a job and he doesn't have an apartment key as she lives in Oasis Springs.

If it's a bug then someone should probably report it on the AHQ , because there are no active bug reports on the issue last time I checked.

I haven't personally experienced it so I can't do it for ya :)
