Just something I was curious about but do any of you remake or download remakes of sims from previous games and add them to your worlds?If so what sims/families have you added?I personally have gotten into the habit of remaking at least one sims or family with each pack that adds a new world, main reason being is that i miss how they use to carry over sims from past games or add new members to existing families.These are some of the families that I have added and their backstories.Grunt - TS2 - Buzz decided to move his family to StrangerVille since it a military town to get his sons more focused on their future military careers. https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/777860050332549133/777865156956258314/grunt.png?width=945&height=630Scott - TS3 Island Paradise - Linda put her foot down on having the family move into a real house and not a boat house. I have an entire Sims 3 in Sims 4 save. All the worlds are filled with builds reproduced from the Sims 3 and all the sims are re-made from Sims 3. Mind you, I had more fun doing the building than actually playing it, I don't really touch it any more.

Yes! In my Kookablarn save, actually, I added sims from TS2, TS3, and MySims! I haven't done it with the premade families, but I dedicated one of my Sims 4 save files to my "Sims 2." What I mean is that I made a list of the Sims I made in the Sims 2, and recreated the idea for Sims 4, so I still technically brought them over. The idea for doing that for the premade families is pretty interesting.

One of my favorite saves has TS1 and TS2 characters in it. The ages really vary from prior games though. I really enjoy playing out their stories though in Sims 4. I play in rotation and very, very slowly since I play other saves also.I have the Specter Family from Sims 2 but Olive and her sister are teenagers still and living with their parents. I'm waiting for a job or some other spooky pack to make it right for me even though I've got her backstory going of how she gets involved and influenced by the grim reaper as the family cemetery count rises. I just don't want her to grow up and start dealing with her husbands deaths yet. Even Buzz Grunt's wife is still alive in my game although she's infected/possessed. It will possibly add to her story as to why she ends up in the Specter's graveyard.I really enjoy playing Don Lothario as he was presented in Sims 2 .. he's a real ladies man of course. I have the Beaker Family (sadists) and Curious Family also but they are a little before Sims 2 time line also. The Grunt Family, The maids from Sims 2, Actually Remington is a pretty central character but Kaylynn was made to replace Don's maid and add to the drama. I also have the Pleasants as they were in Sims 2 and The Broke Family with Skip still alive and well... actually he's a young adult and Brandi is still growing up and living with Bob and Betty Newbie. Darren Dreamer hasn't even met his wife yet either although I have his future house waiting for him to move into.From the Sims 1 families like The Hi.cks, The Charmings, The old Goths, Ginia Kat.... and more overall from both games.It's a fun way to play.

I've just recreated Strangetown in my game using families and house I've found in the gallery. I'm playing Strangetown in TS2, too. I've mostly enjoyed making over the houses in TS4, since building features have vastly improved. I'd love to have a save file with all of the original TS2 neighborhoods, but I haven't been willing to commit time to TS4 to put it together.

Their house in TS2 pets for ps2 is also like the above picture iirc.

I have been using The Roomies from Sims 1 ever since I got that game. These days Melissa and Chris end up with the job of raising my teen alien to her adult years so they have quite a few adventures. Melissa and Chris actually have that kind of squarish head that all sims had in Sims2. Outfits are as close to Sims1 as I can get though. Melissa always joins the military and Chris works part time and has a Grilled Cheese aspiration so she just talks about grilled cheese most of the time.

I have some TS2 sims in one save since I remember them the most and maybe one TS3 family I did (The Alto's since I barely remember anyone else besides the Goth's and Bachelor's.)

Downloaded the Grunt family off the Maxis gallery, since I liked how they looked and re-did the Smith & Beaker family on my own. The latter being a favorite to play with having scientists with little morale. :p

Also made sims from the Urbz game on gamecube and gameboy advance. Was some of my favorite games back in the day (even if the first game was and still is buggy even playing it on PC but that soundtrack slapped). Remembered the premade sims in it more than anything.

Bayou Boo & Crawdad Clem. XD Doubt many remember them from the GB advance game from the Urbz.

I've made versions of Eddie Renalin, Mad Willie Hurtzya, Kayleigh Wintercrest, and Pritchard Locksley in my game.

I replaced ALL of the premades in Sims 4 with premades from Sims 2. And I go through and delete all the generated townies every few times I start the game. Sims in Sims 4 have no backstories, so I don't care about them. Sims in Sims 2 had backstories and family connections.

I have Summerdream, Beaker, Roth. A bunch of townies like Marylena Hamilton, Marissa Bendett, Orlando Bertino, and Brandi Letourneau. Cordial, Goth, Curious, Rutherford, Singles, Green, Langerak, DeBateau, Caliente, Broke, Pleasant, Smith, and Specter.

I made the Specter family. The rest I found on the gallery and modified.

I get that. There are times I wish that they would go and add family connections to sims from pack to pack. Like when they released CL they could of made Zoey Patel related to the Rasoya family or with SE they could of made Miko Ojo related to one of the families in Mt. Komorebi. Instead all the sims in the game are separate and unaware of each other.

Also wish they would update sims and add fame to sims that made sense like the Landgraabs or the Fengs and even add stuff like character values or degrees. You know make it so that with each pack added premades end up feeling more complete and take advantage of the newest features/systems.

I never really thought of adding the sims from the spin-offs but I loved the urbz and if they ever added a acrobatic/cirus performer career I wouldn't mind adding Roxanna Moxie from the urbz. She was one of my favorites.
