Add pack icon to food.

So I like building restaurants and adding then to my worlds cause restaurant are just nice to have and add a little realistic touch. That said I am finding it difficult to make new restaurants since I want to make a restaurant that only has food from Snowy Escape but I have no idea what foods are SN, base game, or City Living since all have some Japanese food in them and I already have a restaurant in San Myshuno that includes all the CL food. I know I can look it up but it would be nice if they added a little pack icon to food items so I know what came from what pack.

  • Sounds like a good idea. Then again, if you only want to have Japanese inspired dishes, there's a few from the CL as well.
  • I second this request. With all the dishes from so many cultures (city living, selvadorada, snowy escape) it would be nice to see which dish came with which pack. We can see it for clothes, furniture and collections, so why not for food.

Yeah, it’d be a little weird to skip the assorted nigiri, ramen with the fish cakes, and mitarashi dango just because they’re from a different pack. There’s some base game recipes that’d work too, like the vegetable dumplings and stir-frys.

It’s also weird that it’s apparently harder to put one type of fish on rice than it is to do three?
  • I'm not really trying to make a "Japanese" restaurant, I'm trying to make a Snowy Escape specific restaurant but since we've had so many packs that have added japanese food and then the base game food it a little hard to tell what food is specific to Snowy Escape.
  • I made a Japanese restaurant in my game. Recipes that came with Snowy Escape (I may have forgotten some) :

    - Yakisoba recipes (Fish, beef, veggie),
    - Egg Ramen, Beef Ramen, Miso ramen, Seaweed Ramen,
    - Hot Pot recipes (Oden, Sukiyaki, Yosenabe),
    - Maki Rolls (avocado,Salmon,Tuna),
    - Onigri,
    - Salmon, Tamago and Tuna Nigiri,
    - Tri-Color Dango,
    - Matcha cake.

The are others but you can't add them to a restaurant menu, (or even cook) they're festival foods (Taiyaki, Ikayaki, Ice cream crepes).
