Adopted kids all human?

They are always human, I've never seen an occult child. If you do want to add a little twist for story options, there are cheats that will change a sim's occult type.

If you want your sims to adopt an alien child you’d be better off just creating a child in cas.fulleditmode and making them the child that way.

Anyway could you imagine the fury if “My sims adopted a child and they ended up being a mermaid/alien/whatever!” from the people who hate occults? They’d have to patch it out or we’d never hear the end of it!

I don't play occult but I would be okay with it if we could know ahead of time. Some little symbol by their name on the adoption page or something.

I'd like to be able to see a childs traits before adoption, but that's just me.

Guess occult are smarter when it comes to having children

Awe thats boring, the idea of adopting a kid and realizing they came from space was a fun idea. They should implement it in the game.

Yeah that's the way they should do it, just a little heads up that maybe you don't want to hold that kid too close to your neck and give them better sunscreen. Though I imagine that some people might still get angry that they found the "perfect" kid, but they are occult.

At that point I'd say that's their problem, haha! If you are like me and don't play occults and the kid is an occult kid than it's not the perfect kid, try another lol!
