My sims always choose the chocolate chips cookies if they have them in the fridge. 😀 I have a sim that lives in San Myshuno and instead of cooking, always goes outside and buys from the food vendors if there is no leftovers in the fridge. I love it when the AI does smart things like that that make sense.
