Adventure Pack could have magic?

I mean we got a peek into a SP process and the concept art was the first thing we saw, and correct me if I'm wrong but the laundry SP process was about a year.

So I could totally see this artwork matching with this GP!

I agree with the OP. The “hints” to magic in the descriptions seems like if it doesn’t make it in this pack, it’s coming. Did we not see a skeleton come alive in the teaser trailer? I know it’s the sims, but that’s a bit magical...

Well we saw concept art for things so long ago that only came out recently, so I think it could be possible for sure!

I remember seeing the Voodoo Shack concept art that was released a while back... it was around 2016 when I saw it on SIMSVIP's website when they had posted an article about concept art. I would rather see something like this in a fully fleshed out Magic expansion pack-not a game pack.

And Magic, in a sense has always existed in TS4 since the base game- Madame Zoe's Voodoo Doll by digging it up and reaching LVL 3 Mischief Skill. We also got the Wishing Well in Romantic Garden and that in many ways has magic elements. And the Skeleton character that is coming in the next GP is most likely going to be a curse from the look of things.

First and foremost the first concept is a Voodoo emporium, it goes with the New Orleans vibe that TS4's Willow Creek has, it came out a few months after the base game launched after GTW along with a gypsy costume that was never put in-game. It has nothing to do with Aztec much less Mayan.

Second, the new GP has been in development since before the last GP came out according to the develpment schedules which means it's likely been done for at least a month or two and has been in testing fases. Laundry Day is likely not hinting at things that are already done.

Last but not least, it seems not a lot of people that go on twitter know that the Abracadabra laundry detergent is a reference to the magic Abracadabra gnome in TS3 that came with Ambitions, because they probably never played TS3.

I'm down for anything that has to do with magic. I must say ALL the hints in the laundrypack made me even more enthusiastic like... I don't think the sims team would go to such lengths with items that could've easily had a lame description, why make so many of 'em magic themed if that doesn't mean anything?

I personally don't think it has anything to do with the Adventure gamepack since that is prolly just gonna revolve around the thomb exploring and the skeleton is just a temp. curse and not a lifestate but I think maybe we'll get a magic gp later this year? Like I'm pretty darn sure the expansionpack of this year is going to be seasons so no magic themed expansion this year imo (and personally I would prefer the life states each getting their own gamepacks so they could be as fleshed out as the vamps are and the building styles around them)
