I'd just delete the EA family. My perspective on this is that you have invested time and emotions into your own Spectre family. That needs to count for something! If you want to play with the official sims later on, they'll always wait for you in a new save. Whereas yours are unique.
EnkiSchmidtLikewise, you could ignore them? Whether you also want to re-name them or not. I tend not to invest in townies unless I feel the need to modify their truly tragic outfits in CAS.
