I couldn't agree more! TS1&2 had better ethic styles than TS3. I can't stand having my black Sims look like Caucasians with a deep tan.

Yes please especially when it comes to curls and wavy hair or crimp style, finger waves, though i like uni's dreadlocks, there's silky locks, and much more.

Oh and for the kids please more hair beads and pony tail styles, Along with braids.

Yes... it's very weird to have all my black sims with Caucasian hair, lol. We need more ethnic hairstyles for sure!

I totally agree and wish they would take this into consideration. Even my own hair is way curlier/frizzier than any of the EA hair and I'm a total Euro mutt. It's rare to find good thick, curly and ethnic custom content hair, too. It's either straight, only slightly wavy, or totally into the realm of rasta dreadlocks (although the dreads look good). There's nothing in between for average African American sims, or us wild-haired Celtics.

I agree 100%. They should make some ethnic hair styles that are perfect, and they should also introduce styles that can work for Caucasian as well as African American, so that families can be interracial and the children can wear hairstyles that suit them as well. So if we also get skintone blending, we could choose a hairstyle that looks like it's a result of nicely mixed genes too :D

(As an off-topic but related to hair note, I really want more hairstyles for regular guys. Not all guys are emo, and they have introduced more regualr guy hairs recently, but the EA team does add way, way too many emo hairs for guys!)

Totally agree, I'm white but I have curly hair and never found anything like that outside of EA will use it for my sims. It is very sad that day still has this kind of discrimination! It is unacceptable! And the guy just African American hair, is never found in that world do we live?? is unfortunate!

Agreed. I like the dread locks from the TS3 university life. An afro would be nice and curly/wavy hairstyles.

The OP is black. If she want to use the word "ethnic", you have no place policing her terminology.

Most black folks have type 3 or type 4 hair, ranging between curly to afro-textured. Some black women use chemical relaxers in their hair to make it straight and more manageable as tightly coiled hair can make styling difficult.
