The reason I am not worry faries being in anexpansion pack

I am worried about the state of possible fairies in an EP.

As you say life and death was a good pack. It was above average. Unfortunately a lot of the more recent packs are not that high in quality. I am mainly thinking about packs that have very little to offer outside their main theme. For example: Businesses and hobbies only has one hobby (pottery) despite the title promissing more hobbies. Lovestruck has little to offer outside the main love them. For rent only has a few kitchen appliances and child games out side of the rental gameplay. Horse ranch only has horses and nectar, not other noteworthy gameplay features. I wish all EP had as much to offer as life and death, but they don't.

If the new EP is indeed on par with Life and Death, fairies might have a chance a being done properly. But you can't compare them directly with ghosts. Ghosts in life and death were an update. The life and death team didn't have to create ghost occults from scratch. We have yet to see a completely new occult type in an EP. And the track record for occults in EP aren't that great. 

• aliens in get to work: no skill tree or perks, very limited looks in CAS, no copy feature in CAS. 
• mermaids: no power, no animation for becoming a mermaid, no crib. even for the tombstone they had to rely on Life and Death to have one made (thankfully patched in for all island living owners)
• servo: extremely limited in looks. Not even compatible with seasons because we can't make them rain proof
• unicorns: saddest of all, just a single CAS asset without any gameplay and not hereditary.

I really hope you are right and we get proper fairies. I honestly can't put all my faith in that one great EP (only an update of an occult) while 4 others did not deliver on new occults. I hope the sims team proves you right and surprises me. 

I think with Buisiness and Hobbise and For Rent.They both came with systems that were huge .

Buisness and Hobbise came with a small buisiness system.That had a skill perk tree.With also mentoring,and teaching classes.

1.mini features like family recipes.

2.mentor system

The pack didn't have to much variety,but it was huge.

Enchanted by Nature dosent seem to come with big systems like that.It seem like Life in Death it will have multiple mini systems.What would have so far is 3 traits,3 neighborhood world,nature living actions,an apocarthy skill slash carer,and maybe gnome npcs?

For Cas ,I don't think they would have to start completly from scrath.Like spell casters don't have a separate form.

The only Cas they need to do is the wings.And maybe add Somes new ear types and colorful skintones.

I think faries be able to have a skill tree.

Never mind a skill tree, I'm starting to worry that they won't even be playable. 

I think they will be playable? Why wouldn't they be?The pics are just to show a narative.There not meant to say,you can't become one.

Besides if the fairies can give alinemwnts that means they have to be playable.

Life & Death might be the exception than the rule, because occults in Sims 4 EPs have been pretty weak. Much, much weaker than their Game Pack counterparts. And Ghosts had the benefit of only being an update to an already-existing system.

EPs in general have a poor track record, imo. Maybe thing will be different if occults are the major focus this time around? But I wouldn't be surprised if they downplay the magical aspect to focus more on stuff for Slice of Life players, like every single EP besides Life & Death.

I understand what you mean,but base on teasers there seem to going to the life and Death route.Have realistic and fantasy play.Not cimplelty one or the other.

I feel life and Death is not going to be the exception.Because that pack was created recently.

The other reason is how the teasers they same seemed to be a big feature. Instead of mermaids where they were only mention in a small part.

Simple question that will alieviate any of my fears:  Is SimGuru Connor working on this pack?  I know he worked on Paranormal Stuff, Nifty Knitting, and Crystal Creations.  I think I read that he worked on Life and Death too.  I don't know why, I don't know how, but if he's working on a pack, that pack has more in it than it "should" and it's almost always for the better.

So if SimGuruConnor is working on this pack, I'm sure I'll be impressed.  I might even actively like that we just have Pixies, rather than my completely unrealistic desire for more Faerie options (Elves and goblins would be a start...)

If he's not... I'm expecting Mermaids again.

I feel like the teasers feature gnomes way more than fairies. We'll get more clarity when the reveal trailer drops. Ghosts were featured heavily in the Life and Death trailer, while Mermaids were shoehorned in at the end of the Island Living trailer, and aliens didn't even appear in the Get to Work trailer. The amount of attention the occult gets in the trailer appears to be roughly proportional to how well developed the occult is.

That's  not good..none of it.

The fireflies are already in the game so I'm not thinking those are fairies.

I'm hopeful that they are saving the main feature for last. Gnomes are not going to work for me. They creep me out.
