Aging for "Active Household only" works not as expected -- an experiment in rotational gameplay

There needs to be a clear option for Aging Off for Everyone if TS2 players want to keep things 'frozen' as in TS2. Because either way you choose the settings in TS4 they don't seem to be actually stopping the Sim you left from carrying on with those important events like having a baby etc. that no TS2 player would want to miss in this game.
