Aging for "Active Household only" works not as expected -- an experiment in rotational gameplay

I have personally tried all the aging options in different scenarios and was lucky enough to say that all worked for me as the developers suggested. No glitch in that.

But what is different is that there is a kind of story progression where sims meet, make friends or romance eachother
