- I don't know why you would delete your comment just because it is an older thread. If you have something to add to the discussion, why not just do it? Yes, I was aware it was an older thread when I posted. It addressed something I was wondering about. Why start a whole new thread?
- The thread is two days old, why is that bad?
I 100% do not understand why people freak out about 'old' threads.
No one has been able to explain it to me, either. Just an irrational hatred of any thread that isn't from today. "Piperbird1;13662001" wrote:

Its from September.
I think mostly because it *can* stir up daftness that has gone on in the past.
But this thread doesn't have that so I don't see the harm.- If I have a question, I usually use the search bar instead of just making a new thread. There could be very good information in an old thread. There may be people that are still having the issue and never found the answer. I have never understood why it is preferable to make a new thread, rather than add on to an existing one that if full of information? I've seen people be really nasty about it, too.
- @Piperbird1 on this thread it wasn't really an issue. However, sometimes people will bring misleading threads from the dead. For instance, one titled "new toddler info!!" and everybody will get excited only to find out that it's ooooold and nothing new. That is what makes people mad

People do this all time with new threads also. Like the one about the cooking bug ... and the spider. lol and many more. Getting mad about something like necro threads and misleading threads is a choice.
Just like love getting mad or angry is a choice. When someone gets mad they choose to get mad. Nobody is forcing anyone to get mad. Some people say “You make me so mad” ... no one can make someone else mad without your permission. Anger is a choice and people must choose to control it. "AnnLee87;13662380" wrote:

Not at all, you were not. I was simply curious why people seem to get so offended about 'necro' threads. There is another person (not you!) that I very frequently see make a nasty posts about it, and I do not understand. I think if someone finds and old thread, and has new information about that old thread, it is a kindness to post further in it. That way if anyone else has the same problem, they will know a solution has been found. Or that a solution still has not been found.
And yes, I have seen a few trolls who seem to like making spam comments on old threads, but they seem fairy rare. Not common enough to justify the response I have seen some people post.
