I'm currently repairing my game in origin to see if that works cos I've noticed through research that it's quite a widespread issue. I'll bare your advice in mind if it doesn't work for my next birthday as the sim was teen to ya today. And the sim dying thing was the adult to elder in a different now deleted file and i panicked so saved instead of purely exiting as i forgot about the cake in that instance. I'll see if the option comes up by cooking a cake at home though so i can check. Thanks in advance
