alien adoptions

just a quick question, has anyone been able to adopt an alien baby, toddler or child???? I don't ever remember seeing one in the adoption lists. :/

  • What's missing is for children taken away by social service to end up in the adoption pool like before, rather than vanishing.

This is definitely something that should be in the game as well as alien and vampire adoptions.
Thank you @Candyd for trying and the cheat.
Though personally I will wait until EA put these options in the game.
  • I think this is a good idea. And I also agree that the possibility of your adopted child randomly being an alien in disguise could be really fun!
  • This thread is pretty old but... There is a way you can adopt an Alien Sim. You need Parenthood, City Living, and Get to Work. This will allow you to create Occult Sims which include Aliens. Create a new Sim family in your world, with an Alien toddler. Then move the alien into your 'family' with manage household. The last part requires a 3rd party mod, MC Command Center. This allows you the relationship status and set the Alien toddler as a son or daughter.

    Some corrections:
I think you're describing the Manage Households (that has been in the game since release). This doesn't require any expansion packs, but creating an alien does require Get to Work expansion pack. In Manage Household's CAS, you can add and remove sims and you can edit the new sim's relationships with existing ones. If the parent-child relationship is not set, you require Parenthood to have the adult sims adopt child or teen as a care dependent. Once the child grows up, they will still get the special parent-child relationship with their caregivers and special sibling relationships with other children in the household.
