Alright, why are most pants options so terrible?

I concur! There are some other, rather hairy reasons for why I would think that.

I predominantly play male sims. What do they wear from the game? A variation of those DU Joggers. Other than that, CC bottoms: usually faded looking jeans or cargo pants. I do feel that there is more choice for the ladies though.
I'm just really glad I'm not a console player...
