Alright, why are most pants options so terrible?

I was wondering the same thing, wondered if it's because I live in the far Northeast so maybe that's why I have never seen a single person wear those amazingly bad "saggy diaper-crotch" pants from DU or those crazy-quilt sweats that make everyone's thighs look swole but not in a good way?

And yes, the pants for males. Very few leave any dignity intact, and the Sims' wardrobe options are getting overrun by fad clothing that looks dated now.
