Always have leftovers, annoying bug cottage living.

If you have too many leftovers, you are probably cooking too much or too often. If you have a single sim, have them cook a single serving if you want them to cook every time they need to eat. Also, if they cook together with another sim, there will be more servings than regular party meals.
