Seeing that rubbing heads is how cats reproduce in this game, from a sim's viewpoint the interaction is probably extremely racy, lol.
I agree on the cuddles and the leaping into the arms looking awkward. In the last case the animation itself is fine, it's their expressions that make them appear unhappy.
