Annoying Vain Street quirk.

If you want, you can waste satisfaction points on a potion that will remove a selected quirk for you, or if you don't mind cheating, simply hold shift+rightclick your sim and under Public Image you should see a category for Quirks and can choose to add or remove any.

Alternatively you could stack on happy moodlets to counter the effect. This would offer more varied gameplay than staring into the mirror constantly. Becoming tense every 3-4 sim hours does sound quite frequent (I don't have GF).

You could use whim points to get your sim the Carefree reward trait. They’ll never become tense once they have it.

That's the quirk I wanted but it turns out Pose like a model is not a good enough interaction to unlock it. Oh well.

Well, I'll do this. I liked the quirk but it had became extremely annoying to the point my sim couldn't stay in a lot without mirrors.

I think it’s kind of funny ? my sim is constantly using mirrors anyways and by doing the interaction needed it gives her a bonus to her confidence. So, idk... I have to do it a lot but I have to keep her confident a lot anyways

It is funny. But from a gameplay point of view, it gets old VEEEEEEERY fast. I wouldn't mind if it was like: "If your sim doesn't admire himself himself in the mirror every 24h, he would get a +10 Tense moodlet. That would be better."

Yeah, I am unhappy with it as well. Wish they gave us the options to turn that on or off. And adjust it so the frequency is a lot less. Once a day or once every couple says. Its definitely overkill and annoying. My big issues is my Sim being tense all day at work and there's nothing i can do about that. I haven't gotten a promotion in a bit and i think being tense has something to do with it. If so, then Get Famous was a waste of money. ={

You can use the computer or phone (I think?) to book a celebrity cleanse! It'll get rid of one of your quirks.
