Annoying Vain Street quirk.

Am I the only one getting frustrated with this Celebrity Quirk?

My sim got this quirk and now I need to make him check himself in the mirror a bajillion times a day otherwise he will get a +2 tense moodlet. I liked the quirks idea, but, come on, I want to be able to play the game without dealing with a +2 tense moodlet every 3~4 sim hours.

You can use the computer or phone (I think?) to book a celebrity cleanse! It'll get rid of one of your quirks.

As far as I knew that just clears Perks and Points. The Quirk B Gone clears quirks but both of those can end up getting expensive always having to clear because they're annoying. I'd love them to update the pack with less frequency someone initially mentioned or better options. Option to turn off, etc

Most of the quirks drive me crazy but it does add a bit of uniqueness to the sims. I have cheated some away like the obsession with the phone. However, I love when they have a public number because the random calls are pretty funny.

Well, I'll do this. I liked the quirk but it had became extremely annoying to the point my sim couldn't stay in a lot without mirrors.

Anyone who gets a trait that comes with tension i've noticed pops off more frequently that i'd like. for example an active sim needs to exercise constantly and even when they are they get a tense buff saying they aren't getting enough exercise, its very similar to the mirror vainty streak, the phone fanatic and juice drinker fame quirks.

Frankly EA needs to look at these traits and quirks and rebalance them a bit more, because it is silly how tense individuals get from these and in some cases it is crippling any game play.

yeah, but that costs a lot of reward points and those aren't an easy task to get in short order.

... until the quirk returns from autonomous action. and then your spending more reward points to clear it again.. and then it comes back again.
an update would be fanatastic to rebalance the whole thing. but for now it is either shut off the fame system from the options and lose the celebrity status or at least reduce it, or put up with it.

Whatever the case, the mirror vanity trait, is all too easy to pick up in an attempt to calm a sim down from too much playfulness, sadness, anger ot tension, or simply to build up confidence. when you pick it up you're at the mirror almost all the time.

I usually pick which quirks my sims get. You know your sim will get a quirk when he has an empty quirk slot, so pick one that you think you can put up with and do the things that you think will trigger that quirk. Once the slot is full, you don't have to worry about quirks until the next slot opens.
