[answered] Castaway Challenge

I’m playing a Castaway Challenge with two rival households, the Windenburg Royal Navy and the Pirates. Every Tuesday and Thursday the sim with the fewest satisfaction points defects to the other household and in week 1 three of the Windenburgians are tied. My problem now is that I know whom I WANT to defect, but on the other hand I also want to be impartial.

Here are the candidates:

Gavin (the boatswain) – Gavin is in a tricky situation, because he has two disliked sims in his own household, but also a very good friend. He’s also Ambitious, so might not be too keen on throwing away his career. On the other hand, as a Goofball maybe he was born for piracy… (his final trait is Cat Lover and shouldn’t influence the decision). Gavin is currently Very Uncomfortable.

Marlon (an able bodied seaman) – Hot-headed Marlon is enemies with the pirate leader. He’d not so much defect, but join the other crew in the hopes of killing his foe. But he is also family-oriented and atm the crew is his only family, so should he really leave them? Especially since he is also Clumsy, and pirate life might be pretty unforgiving… Marlon is currently Very Embarrassed.

Rika (the purser) – Rika is an all round cheerful and well liked person, but so far her relationships have been shallow (no friends, but no disliked sims either). Maybe in the other crew she will find a true friend? Rika has no traits that might swing her decision one way or the other (Cheerful, Dance Machine, Bookworm). She is currently Very Embarrassed.
