Any easier way to increase the magic power without cheat?

Hi, I turned my vampire sim into a spell caster. I let him read all tomes and completed the both aspirations, Purveyor of Potions and Spellcraft and Sorcery. But I want to purchase all magic perks for my sim but I have only a few times in real time. Is there any faster way to increase the talent points for this? If there's a cheat, then I wouldn't mind. I'm not using MCCC.

  • Make sure they have a broom in their inventory (and have it marked for "Always use brooms") so that they'll passively pick up a few points every time they travel anywhere. But a faster return on points would come from collecting and eating magical Motes in the Magic Realm, assuming your sim has the Mote Hound perk that lets them do that. Edit: Oh, and practice magic, of course.

Once the sim learned all spells, then practicing the spell doesn’t work. I’m planning to spell, scruberoo to the all family members in my household. I can repeat this over and over until the charging gets almost full. Then discharge, then increase the potion by copypasto over and over until the charging gets almost full again. ?

  • One of my "favorite" ways to boost power is to set them to always transportalate. And then add a baby to the house, with the sim as the primary caregiver.

Just teleporting from wherever they are to take care of the baby and then back generates a lot of magic xp.

Though not everyone wants to add a baby to the household. :)
  • I like to keep a familiar summoned when I practice magic, I think it gives an xp boost. Also, if your Sim reads a lot or talks about magic a lot, I get the perks to passively give caster xp for that too. Also, experimenting at the cauldron helped me max out fairly quickly, as well as once they learned the spell "Transportalate", I set them to "Always Transportalate", since that gave them points as well.

Also, instead of showering, Scruberoo! Dirty counter? SCRUBEROO! Broken sink? I use repairo. Hungry? Delicioso (or whatever it's called, I only just got that one haha)
I use magic for as much as I possibly can as a spell caster. The perk to empty your charge meter is a huge help!

Oh, I didn't mean "practice" in the same way as "practicing because I don't fully know this yet." I mean practicing as in using magic, which sounds like your plan. Sorry for the confusion. :)

Oh I see. ? But looks like I better turn him into the vampire again. For some reason, he doesn’t look being alive since he became the spellcaster. Actually, he was the grand master vampire before, but recently, he started browsing the magic tomes constantly while he was a vampire. I thought he wanted to become a spellcaster but now he just keeps sitting on sofa with doing nothing if I leave him with free will. I should command him to try a chat with his children or wife, otherwise he doesn’t chat with anyone. He used to be like dancing, chatting but he doesn’t dance or chat…

Thanks for the tips but sounds like still needs some efforts. ☺️
