Any easier way to increase the magic power without cheat?

One of my "favorite" ways to boost power is to set them to always transportalate. And then add a baby to the house, with the sim as the primary caregiver.

Just teleporting from wherever they are to take care of the baby and then back generates a lot of magic xp.

Though not everyone wants to add a baby to the household. :)
