I LOVE LOVE LOVE these! They give off different type of auras which comes in handy when you need some type of mood. I set the romantic ones in the bedrooms, confident/inspiration ones on computer desks, inspiration ones on the kitchen counters, and various ones next to art easels/music instruments.

Sometimes, especially when I need to get my sim in a certain mood to complete a date or aspiration, and they aren't cooperating with me.

I remembered to put a focusing one on the computer desk for my programmer/gamer geek once.Really must remember them more and use other emotional auras more often.

Unless it has changed, you need to have The Sims 3 game + packs registered to your account in order to unlock them for The Sims 4. Each EP unlocks a different color/emotion lamp. Read about it here: https://sims-online.com/get-unique-rewards-sims-4/@hunniboo1 I'm assuming you have The Sims 3 and some packs registered then? If not, then something has changed and everyone can get them now but I don't think so. It's supposed to require registration of those games to unlock in The Sims 4.

No, these lamps are available only to anyone that bought TS3 packs. They are not available with TS4. I wish they were, they're awesome. But, like I said, it's a nice reward/perk for those who play TS3. TS2 players got a free copy of TS2 Ultimate. :)

I have actually never used them, I don't know why. So I'm with @NRowe , I have to use them more often :)

Those are such a nice perk/reward for TS3 Simmers. I don't have them since I never played that iteration, oh well... Enjoy! :)

Didn't we get these as part of the game's promotion? I don't think everybody has them or have they been added since?
