Anyone had a bug with stuff disappearing when building walls on platform?

I ask behalf of my friend who is building a house and encountered a bug. I tried to look for similar issues from Answers HQ, but didn't find one, just thought that I would ask here first if it sounds ...

Thanks for the answers so far!

My friend removed the platform and everything is working now, so it really was something to do with it.... It was really weird, like she already had her kitchen ready but when building a piece of wall to the other side of the house all the kitchen items, counters etc. disappeared. ?
