I think my main problem is that I feel like the entire pack's theme is only going to apply to the town that comes with it like City and Island living. As in, you'll only see the effects of "reducing your carbon footprint" in Evergreen. So if you don't want your sims to live in Evergreen you can still make them eco friendly but the most you'll get out of it is a moodlet when they recycle or something and you can't do any community projects and whatnot. Also I'm worried we'll get another small town like Del Sol where you won't even be able to move many families into town. It'd be cool if we got plantsims in this pack though.
I do think this pack will tie in well with the Tiny House Stuff pack (whatever it's called) at the very least. I'm happy that people who've been wanting eco living will finally get it but I also understand why others are mad about it. No pack is going to cater to every player's style after all, that's just a fact.
Personally, I don't have any interest in packs unless that pack focuses on fixing the sims themselves. Getting real tired of my sims getting cheated on only to see them talking casually with their ex two minutes later in the bathroom as they both continuously drink glasses of water.
