- fruitsbasket1007 years agoSeasoned AceI've never stopped playing the sims 3. It's more like I go back to the sims 4 on occasion after a few years just to check out how it coming along.
- paigeisin57 years agoSeasoned Ace@JoAnne65 May I ask which graphics card you are using?
- filipomel7 years agoSeasoned AceI still play 3 on occasion, it has a special place in my heart, I think the graphics are ugly in comparison to 4, but it has such a specific charm that I just lust over.
- I can't seem to play S2 on my newer computer, it's not recognized unfortunately. I think it's the graphics card. Anyway, I skipped on most of S3 because of how hideous the Sims looked. I just couldn't take looking at them any longer so I could NEVER go back to S3 after S4. But I did really like the open world.
- When time allows I still play 2, 3 and 4 as don't have the original on this pc but i don't understand the "ugly " argument but then beauty is in the eye of the beholder right? I do like the way they did the multi task on 4 but 3 wins for scenery and open world (horses) & 2 is still my fav for gameplay although I feel four is getting better as time goes by.
- About a month ago I went back and played TS3 for the first time in a long time. Although I loved how much depth there was with the interactions you had with sims, and the seamless traveling throughout the world was nice... I couldn't get over the terrible graphics, the empty feel of the "open" world, the rabbit holes, the ugly furniture, the terrible CAS, and how long it takes to try to furnish a house nicely with create a style. Also, no multitasking.
I think they managed to add so many improvements in TS4 and people tend to forget that TS3 was not without its flaws...
