- bshag4lv5 years agoSeasoned AceHighest ranking options, relationship with family outside home, modern romance, growing pains, heist, bands, Swiss village and Italian vineyard (maybe get to make necter), elders #1 for more gameplay, second kids then toddlers. I ranked emotions high as I think they need some improvement, and I ranked Chinese anything and adult/young adult dead last.
- Honestly, I hope this survey leads (directly or indirectly) to finally getting old play interactions and a few new ones for the kids, and finally adding unnatural hair colors for Children and Toddlers. I mean, I have one save that I'm currently playing where the mom has purple hair and the dad has pink hair. Their twin sons ended up blonde, and their daughter ended up with red hair. This. Needs. To. Stop. Add a "Dyed Color" and "Natural Color" options in CAS and let us have anime chi'rens!!
But, yeah, I really hope the mall idea gets enough support behind it to become a pack. Teens really need the extra gameplay. Also, more gameplay and CAS for Children is definitely something I want to see. I was kind of disappointed that ROM didn't give spellcaster Children anything besides an idle animation in CAS, and I really want more games for them to play, maybe some playground equipment to build them one of those "Adventure Playgrounds" where kids get to build things and set stuff on fire and all that good stuff. Oh, and pranks. Children and Teens need more pranks...
When it comes to the world ideas, I put the "Chinese Countryside" at the top. Partly because China has one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the world, and partly because in my heart of hearts I hope a Chinese-inspired world will come with Martial Arts skills and improved fights for our sims. The cartoon fight cloud is alright and all...but some kung-fu wouldn't push the game out of its T rating. I mean, Street Fighter games are consistently rated T, and the gameplay is entirely punching and kicking (and that but bump thing Rainbow Mika does). - Karamazov1235 years agoSeasoned Ace

I have a problem with the Chinese government, even before the pandemic. But that's the government, not the country at large. China and its people are so rich in history and myths, beautiful architecture and interesting culture. "Gordy;c-17474635" wrote:

I 1000% agree, but seeing anything Chinese related right now just leaves me feeling so uncomfortable. I'd rather see Japanese culture (I've always favoured Japan in Asian countries I'd ever visit) in the game or Korean tbh- Karamazov1235 years agoSeasoned Ace

That's completely fair. And I really want a Japanese world more than anything else. Takemizu Village from Sims 2 got me hooked on the elegance of older Japan. "SimsLovinLycan;c-17474608" wrote:

I hadn't even thought of that. It would be fun."Mariqueen;c-17474643" wrote:

Aw, that sounds rough. Especially what with all the electronics and apparel we use every day. Or paper and umbrellas and myriad things. Hope it eases up for you. Maybe by the time any of these packs are ready it won't be so bad.
So, are Culinary Quest and Fan Club Creator consistently at the bottom? I mean, I agree. It's not something I'd mind if it were there, but I'd 100% prefer they devote their energy and resources to literally any of the other options. They seemed like such weird, random proposals lol Since we already have the cooking skill and career, and since we already did some fan related stuff in Get Famous, I can't even imagine what kind of pack these would be featured in. They certainly don't warrant a pack of their own. What would that even look like?- Fluteline245 years agoSeasoned Ace

I’m not entirely sure why some simmers are so against the high school idea....
I thought some simmers wanted their Sims’ lives to be harder? I know if I had a pack like that it would spell the end of my rainbows and unicorns utopia instantly!! ? ??
Because high school sucks and there is nothing they could do to make an active school pack interesting. - GypsyRozLyn5 years agoSeasoned AcePlease - No story progression unless it is completely optional!
Other than that scary idea - there were a lot of lovely ideas. - Surveys are.. surveys. I so much hope something based on these, also actually happens too :)
- @GracieO312 also the high school they are offering is American high school.and for many of us this would not be an appealling idea. The game is americanised enough already. I was disappointed in DU in how culturally USA specific it was.
I also didnt like that the description of cliques etc seemed to hint that they were going to include a certain amount of institutionalised bullying which srems so common in US school tv and movies too.
