April Patch Speculation 2020 (Available Now April 7th)

I just wish for communication. No pack? Fine. No patch? Okay. But no communication? That’s where things are going amiss right now.

Honestly, their lack of communication, while other game developers are doing so much, that's what makes me not care anymore.

Agreed! I don’t really care what it is, I just wish they’d set some sort of expectation. If it’s no pack until May or June or October or whatever, just say so. Even if it’s just a vague update that there are understandable delays but they’re hard at work on some upcoming goodies! Literally anything but another sale announcement would do.

And my assumption is - no patch for both April and May especially considering the situation. Probably some content in June. Isn't it how the things were last year - with February SV and June IL and nothing in-between?

There will most likely be a patch in April. Trump has said everyone will go back to work around Easter.

1) the people at EA are already back at work - working remotely
2) He's said he wants people back to work by Easter. This goes against CDC/WHO recommendations, and is unlikely to happen. Anything further I have to say about it gets political so I won't.

I really hope to see pool slides and pool waterfalls in the Next Update. I still cant believe we dont have pool slides.

I’m starting to doubt we’ll even get a patch in April with the way things are going in the world right now. If there is one I’m expecting a few bug fixes, but nothing major. Let’s hope they’re putting all their focus into new pack content.

Hell, I was hoping we'd see some modded familiars (dragons in other colours, maybe, or the ability for dragon familiars to start fires), but RoM modding died within like a month of the pack dropping.

Since EAxis people are working from home they don't have access to the motion capture equipment needed for new animations

This means that if they haven't finished anything by the time they began working from home then we won't see new feature until they get back to full work

In other words: We can only expect bug fix updates (and a new hollow pack if we're lucky) to come out during the quarantine state.
