You know, all these comments about LPs being dead bums me out because when I was unable to get console games, those were the best ways to see a game. Just kinda unfriendly for Youtube though, since they more prioritize daily uploads and it's essentally a full time job if you do it like that. And that leads to burnout.
I myself do want to share my Sims stories, and maybe I'll do some recap videos of what's going on on my main file someday. Maybe. But it'd just be for me because I want to share experiences, not to chase fame or clout.
There kinda is a purpose with being a Game Changer in that you get those early previews and builds, which is good for getting those inital impressions on a pack and like say, stuff like with Carl and other guide websites who can give infomation on how systems work. But it's very much feeding into the hype machine into the next expansion, pack and stuff pack. Which -shrugs- Word of mouth is good but word of mouth mostly counts after a pack is released and if it suits what you want in game.
