Are "no work" holidays supposed to take away my work vacation days???

Sure, I'd be exploiting the holidays so I could pretend the kids were home schooled. But in order to do that, I would also have liked to be able to keep the kids home but send the adult/s to work. Being able to edit the "busy" schedule would have been great for that. I really don't want to have to use paid leave and keep the adults at home too. :(
