As of yesterday I moved my household into the biggest premade mansion in Snowy Escape and it is... better. It helps that it is big since platforms for platforms sake is less of an issue (they still waste about 30 or 40 squares, total, in the build, mostly, again, as glorified plant stands).
Anyway, apart from the color scheme (Black is the second tackiest color for "rich" people after gold, IMHO) it is pretty ❤️❤️❤️❤️ good. I had to remake all walls and floors and furniture in natural wood colors (this is just taste, not function, and I admit that).
The only REAL issues I found with the house tho is that the game changer in question (Lilsimsie, according to her youtube) obviously have toyed around with skylights because a number of spots in the house lack inner ceilings despite being roofed, so she has probably tried out a skylight, removed it, and failed to actually putting the ceiling back. Took some 10 minutes to fix, it just look horrible if you look from the wrong angle and see sudden holes in the ceiling (but not the roofs) where there shouldn't be a hole.
Again, the rest is just down to my taste and not criticisms of her work, like the black everywhere and the odd decision to not put some expensive stuff in there (not sure if there was a rule she got from EA, but I don't understand why the most expensive house in the world, with a premade family at that living in it, doesn't have a dish washer and uses cheap POS bathtubs and some of the absolute cheapest sinks in the game).
You could always bulldoze the lot and rebuild something more to your liking, rather than needlessly spending your time and effort creating these threads just so you can criticize other peoples' hard work, time, and effort.
So somebody missed a few holes in their ceilings, big deal. If you ever made the effort to try building these things for yourself, you'd soon discover that many of these types of problems are quite common during the building process (and therefore can be easily missed) because of so many problematic bugs and glitches when trying to add/remove walls, floors, roofs, friezes, fences, half walls, stairs, etc etc.
Why not put in the endless hours/days/weeks it takes to learn how to build so you can upload all of your (presumably) perfectly flawless builds to the gallery? Just imagine how wonderful it will be for the gallery to finally have such skillfully built masterpieces created by you, for all to enjoy and admire.
Time to put your money where your mouth is.
