OMG! I am in shock with the title of this thread. I play Sims 4 since day one. Yesterday I uploaded to the gallery my share number 500. I'm a PLAYER that builds her own scenarios. I'm sure they are many PLAYERS like me. As I want to enjoy my stuff I need to playtest EVERYTHING. I do not build with MOO activated, it is stupid. MOO is a useful cheat to do unique features here and there, NOT to build everything from zero!! Sadly many streamers and/or youtubers are teaching everyone to use MOO as a default. The irresponsable use of MOO creates routing issues and lagging lots, or lots full of clutter. MOO is a feature for building, not the building tool itself. I have lots and rooms without MOO, or big lots with only ONE feature created with MOO. I only activate MOO if I want to do something special, not all the building. Personally I believe that you need to play the game a lot to learn what works better when building anything. Also you do not need to ask other players to "activate MOO before placing your lot", for me is a bad build, you need to be careful when you use the game cheats.
For example: people often say that restaurants don't work... check your building, they work fine (years ago we have a bug, but not now). A 64X64 lot build with MOO and full of clutter will lag your game, even if you have a gamer PC. Weird glitches happen because of the bad use of MOO or/and other cheats.
BTW sometimes lots and rooms that worked can have issues now, the game has changed a lot. Many playtested builds have issues later: for example after the terrain tool implementation or the inestable platforms now, etc... I enjoy building and I share my stuff mainly to keep it safe and not lose it if my pc fails (it happened to me before). I love building and CAS, but first I love the gameplay.
