Are You 'Cleaning Up' Your Sims/Worlds Before L&D?

In the time we have until L&D is released, I've been cleaning up my sim households and neighborhoods a bit. I'm curious if anyone else is doing something similar as well and, if so, in what ways?

For me, I'm playing with adding some of the original TS4 households back into their respective worlds and neighborhoods. I only just recently realized that many of them have some fun and interesting backstories, so wanted to 'bring them back' in preparation for L&D. (Yeah, it's not like I haven't been playing since the original TS came out. Don't judge me 😋; I always custom make my own sims as a general rule.)

  • My worlds in each of my different timeline Game Saves are updated.  I even updated my Addams Family & will move them along with their home to Ravenwood when the game is released.  I'm now in the process of making & preparing my Casper Ghost's Family that I just made on October 22nd, 2024.  Once I build their Haunted Home I will move them also to Ravenwood.

  • I am changing up and cleaning my sims 4 worlds and saves in general especially after a base game update and patch.

I plan on playing the L&D EP a few months after release as long as it's playable.

I will play L&D as a new save, clean the world of any lots that I don't (Kneed) need by hand and then transport some of my sims from my main save into the world to explore.

I just really want to be a tarot card reader in this EP and work with Grim and the Sims National Police Force-together they can unite the dead with the living!😝

    Gypsies Unite! 😲

  • Since I'm not getting L&D right away I'm catching up on things in my games that have been there to do but put off, like getting rid of sims with adult acne, visiting some community type lots I downloaded and didn't have time to go to, getting degrees for my uni students, setting up new families etc.

  • That sounds fun!

I'm going to do some "cleaning" after I get L&D, in other words I'm keeping some old sims and sims I plan to get rid of alive until I have the new EP 😇

I only recently learned that Alex Moyer, from the base game, was created to be an immortal sim since she featured in the TS4 tutorial. So one of the changes I want to do with her is to make her into a kind of 'angelic' character and move her to Ravenwood, too. And then I'm going to work at making her and Grim best friends. 😄😆

I'm currently playing a bunch of families I created in a new save for Lovestruck. I'm debating if I want to carry on with them or start a new file just for L&D, which is my usual MO for a new expansion to try out everything. But I'm leaning toward staying with the current file because there's already some elders poised to pass on, and one ghost of an elder who already did, and a lot of good family dynamics going on that I think might make L&D more "lively". ☠️☠️☠️

  • I'm undecided what to do.  I have a legacy save which is fairly new and only up to the third generation but I also have a rotational save file where I am going through all of the pre-made sims and I have a lot of hours in that save file.  With them saying that you only get the "new" Grimreaper genetics with new save files I am feeling more like completely starting over because I would want the new Grim genetics for any babies he had plus I would want them to share genetics with Nervous Subject.  I'm finding it hard to play at the moment because I am leaning more towards abandoning my saves for brand new ones once the EP comes out.  I'm open to suggestions,
