- annaliese396 years agoSeasoned NewcomerI don't have IL yet, but I plan for most of my sims to just visit Sulani and go on 'holidays' there. I hope we get hotels at some point so this becomes easier. I'll probably have at least one family live there too as I also have plans for one of my sims to take a different path to his infamous evil vampire family, who rule over the rest of the worlds. Sulani seems like the perfect paradise for him to escape his dark background once he reaches adulthood and be the good person he wants to be. And if he catches the eye of a pretty little mermaid, well...
- I started 2 new families in Sulani and played them, alternating every week, on 14-day seasons, for an entire year. One is a mermaid conservationist with twin sons living in Lani St. Taz. Then I have a fisherman with his family living in Ohan’ali Town.
I’m thinking of moving an elder who is very close to death, a very accomplished Selvadorada explorer and athlete, to Mua Pel’am somewhere so he can haunt it.
My other 5 families who live elsewhere are back in my rotation now. I’ve sent some of them to Sulani for vacation just by using holidays with days off set up. It’s interesting because it actually works better than sending them on an “official vacation” to Granite Falls or Selvadorada, simply because bb mode is not locked out. So they can go to the beach and I can plop down a tent (that didn’t need to be in their inventory already) and anything else they could want or need. My celeb actress has already stolen Makoa (hot asian mohawk guy) from his wife and had his baby. They live in her Del Sol Valley mansion though, obviously. - keekee536 years agoSeasoned NewcomerBoth. I have three families living there(Islanders) The rest of my Sims vacation there.
- Right now I'm playing on the Volcano Island, seeing the change after cleaning it up is awesome, also, my goal is to host a turtle hatching ceremony!!!!
- rpk3332366 years agoNew Spectatori play rotationally so I have sims living on all the islands and in the other worlds.
All of the above. ? - Joanne_Snow6 years agoRising TravelerLiving in Mua Pel'am (x2) and in Ohan'ali Town (x1). I also send sims there in summer for a relaxing day at the beach with the family!
- Whenever I end up getting it, I'll be using it for vacation. I only wanted a tropical world for that purpose.
- paigeisin56 years agoNew SpectatorPlanning on making Sulani a mix of vacation homes and residential homes. I have a wealthy couple with grown children and grandchildren that will buy one of the larger lots and build a family compound where the entire family can celebrate the holidays. This is in my main save. The second save I have, where I play four families rotationally, I'm planning for one of the families to live there year round while the other three families will own vacation homes. I'm still struggling with updating a couple of mods while waiting for a patch of some kind from the teams so this is what I hope I'll be able to do. We'll see how the game feels about it when I try to make it happen. :)
- akl12266 years agoNew SpectatorCurrently living in Mua Pel’am with a single sim doing rags to riches off the grid style. She lives on the small private island and makes her money by fishing and collecting. She finally has a little hut to live in.
I have plans for other families in my other saves to buy retail lots to use as vacation homes. I also want to update the shipwreck in a save where it has enough for a small family to temporarily stay there on a vacation (I’ll make it a park I think lot wise). Staying in an abandoned ship wreck in paradise is perfect for this one family. I’m not playing out these scenarios yet as my families save money so I just answered based on what I’m currently doing. - Hermitgirl6 years agoNew SpectatorI've got a premade save that I explored all the residents on... now I'm trying some other sims. I'll rotate back to the islanders soon. I have put a general lot on Sulani for those that want to "vacation" there but live in other worlds. It has all the amenities. I'm enjoying incorporating this beautiful world into my play.
