It's not weird. She's already friends with the male Sims' wife, Carina. The interesting thing about this scenario imposed by the new SP patch is that while Drake Golden called up Joseph Cantrell about the time Drake was spending with Louise and what they planned. After Joseph gave his answer, Carina called Louise to ask her advice on whether she, Carina, should spend more time with Drake. Louise was quick to say yes. After a time, Louise got another phone call from Carina telling her that she was glad to have spent more time with Drake. He was cool. To me, that suggests there's Trouble in Paradise in the Golden household. He may have thought Louise a good listener and he may have shared his situation, asking her for advice. Perhaps, over coffee? Then he thought better of it and asked Joseph's advice. The whole thing is rather convoluted, but fun in its own way. Certainly, it creates a sense of drama that the player/director can take in whatever direction they please. :)
