I completely agree. Attraction is a basic human function, aka basegame. - DaiyuStarr4 years agoNew Adventurer

Would love this. Seems fundamental to game play, yet it is missing. - telemwill4 years agoSeasoned AceI am holding out hope that we get an attraction system in the base game update. I currently use a mod, but it doesn't make starting relationships with incompatible Sims difficult enough.
- It seems the wedding pack is very much about weddings. A lot of us assumed that would entail romance as a whole, but apparently not. The pack knows what it's about.
Maybe they'll reform the attraction system in a patch one day. They sort-of already did, with romantic likes/dislikes, but we'll see if they go further. "Benjamilian;c-18055554" wrote:

Perhaps In the update next week. We ll know for sure in the livestream today.- scoed12274 years agoRising HotshotSadly there is zero evidence supporting any such thing in the pack or the prepack update. This would likely have been at least hinted at if it was coming. I want an attraction system but I am very doubtful one is coming.

I dunno, we haven't seen any hints regarding anything what is coming in the game update itself, only the pack.
That said, I could not care less if an attraction system is coming. I decide who my Sims are interested in and I don't need the game to have a system that just boggles and interferes with my plans.
TS2 had an attraction system and I was constantly having to use mods/cheats to edit Sims so that the ones I wanted to pair up would actually be attracted to each other. I don't particularly need that extra level of annoyance. I'd be happy if they added it though if there were toggles, like with aging, so it could be toggled on and off separately for played vs. unplayed sims.- DaiyuStarr4 years agoNew Adventurer

I wonder if it is possible to add "tones" to a system. So that if you wanted certain sims to get together, you could set a tone that would allow them to fall for each other.
I always imagined that if there was an attraction system, that we'd still have some control. Like how we currently control likes and dislikes. - breezy95924 years agoSeasoned AceI can only see attraction system come out in a update if they do but right now they never said they would.
