I think the August Patch will be small. If I had to guess about fixes it would probably be the one they recently had to delay. I forgot which one it was.

Regardless of whatever patches they might put out this month, I wish they would finally fix the gallery already. It's super aggravating how they refuse to communicate real information about whether they're actively working on it and the timeline for it. Compared to how much fanfare they put out prior to the gallery's disastrous migration, the silence about all its broken features afterward has been deafening.

I feel like this has to be a record number of bugs for a new EP. I can’t remember the last time I saw a bug fix list for a single EP so long it was divided up by cas, bb and live modes.

Dang thats a lot of Horse Ranchbut yeah I do wonder when the gallery is all up again got so many builds to share and replace with ceilings included version but i don't feel like doing that before its all up and running againwould be nice to know where they are at with that

Still, I didn't read anywhere we'll be getting these two Kits in August, not in September. The current roadmap does cover the timespan until September.

Decided to play Skyrim instead. Only problem with that is I love Skyrim to the point that once I start playing again I have a hard time switching back to play something else. Maybe I will try alternating the 2 games after I am sure Sims 4 is fixed. In the meantime I am off to adventuring!

I tend to alternate Sims and Civ 6 depending on my mood :)

The EA App problem is fixed. To see the fix on your end, do an EA App Recovery:

Open the EA App
Select the upper left corner menu (three lines)
Select Help
Select App Recovery

NOTE: If you still have issues, try also restarting your computer. Or go for a walk and try App Recovery again in a while; the fix may still be rolling out. And no, there's no actual update!

Hey all,

Sorry for the delay in getting to you all here, I've been all over AHQ this morning trying to get to the bottom of the issue that occurred overnight.

Long story short, there was no patch today. What we had was an issue with the EA app earlier (I believe the technical term was "shenanigans") that caused the app to think that Sims 4 had an update available when there wasn't.

Thanks @luthienrising for keeping this thread up to date as well, you can follow along in the thread on AHQ for this issue should the need arise.

Yes, the roadmap is through September, so I'm expecting the kits next month.
