Award Ceremony AOE

There are so many beautiful new builds, and rebulds, of Studio PBP that replacing the vanilla version is A Thing(tm). My question, though, is what is the AOE of sims watching the ceremony; whether the stage is flat (same level) as the audience or elevated, and how far back?

I find that when I take my sim to a ceremony, in order for them to watch they all seem to get up to stand almost directly in front of the microphone. Also, nominees to elevated platforms never go for their awards or make speeches which seems to indicate that they can't "watch" the ceremony either... Sadly, it kind of takes away from the whole event and the efforts of the talented artists who remake Studio PBP.
