- babajayne3 years agoSeasoned AceNope, I have some babies that remained babies when I played rotationally. Are they the only ones aging in those families?
- ardentaversion3 years agoSeasoned HotshotYes, the babies are the only one's that aged up. It was only once, he hasn't had more babies since then.
- GalacticGal3 years agoLegendWow, now that will kill the notion of rotational play, won't it. The ability to turn off aging was a selling point, if you will. I tend to allow aging on, when I don't have Sims in Uni, just so they will age along with the rest of their family.
- Daephene13 years agoSeasoned AceThe Bheeda baby was born and aged up to toddler when my sim lived in the same building, with aging on for active house only. But I got a few childless couples pregnant in an attempt to help my doctor get his promotion, and those have stayed babies for ages. I have always assumed being apartment neighbors was part of it. She hasn't ever aged any further though, and Billie Jang didn't age when my sim lived in that building for several weeks, it was just the baby to toddler transition.

He wasn't playing any sims in apartments at the time this occurred and it was every neighborhood too, not just the one he was playing in. "Andiratyme;d-998922" wrote:
Anyone had an issue in vanilla, with no mods, where the babies are aging up in inactive households? My husband plays rotationally and has aging off except in active household and all of the babies he had just aged up to toddlers on their own. He also turned off story mode because it was killing people. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Alright... I read this, looked it over— I think carefully. So, he is NOT playing with aging off is one thing I gather...
Stupid question, I know but feel I should make sure we are leaving no stone unturned, so here it goes...
They other households, including the ones with aged up babies ARE marked with the ❤️, yes?
I mean, it seems like an easy thing to forget (Sometimes)... Often, I’d forget my head if it wasn’t so firmly in place ?
And sometimes the problem is that lil thing one might forget or over look.- babajayne3 years agoSeasoned Ace

But does he keep track of the days the other sims have left in their age group? because they may have aged, just not aged up. - ardentaversion3 years agoSeasoned HotshotYes, they are played households with the heart. Does he keep track of it, no. But he also knows they don't have the same birthdays. It's not a matter of them aging, it's that they transitioned from babies to toddlers all at once. And now it's done it again from toddlers to children. It's like they all have the same birthday even though he knows they don't and they're not being played so even if they did have the same birthday they still should not age because aging is only on for active households. He has no mods so it's not a mod problem. He also has unlimited and has a 215 sim count. Could this be the problem?

It sounds like the pregnancies started the same day. That would make them all age the same day after that. And it sounds like he needs to check his aging settings and whether Sims are actually played or unplayed (for that part of the settings).- JaggidEdje3 years agoSeasoned AceDefinitely what @luthienrising said, and I would stress that he should definitely re-check all of the households in My Households to see what their "played" and "unplayed" status is. After the NS patch update I kept having households automatically get changed to "played" even though I never had played them.
It stopped once I turned off all of the NS options other than "adopt a pet" for all of "My Households" and it never was a problem for "Other Households".
