Off the top of my head, the only ones I can think of are LittleMsSam's mod for No Auto Grab Food after cooking and Faster Cooking at Restaurants and Ravasheen's mod that lets you make cupcakes in the stove rather than the cupcake machine.
None of those are ones that cause new recipes to fail to show up or need frequent updates.
Cooking is one of my favorite things (both in game and irl), so I'd probably use many more if it wasn't for the problems they cause when the game gets more food items. I learned early on in TS4 that I didn't like not having new foods show up 'right away" so I am skipping all the bigger cooking overhaul mods until the game is not getting updates and packs anymore.
