I went through and cleaned up my CAS CC yesterday and got rid of any that I decided I just don't use....you know, because sometimes you grab cc because you think you like it, but then it just doesn't look as good in the game as you expected.Anyway, now I'm going to have a few bald townies, because hairs was the category from which I purged the most things that were "allowed for random". Anyone who uses a lot of CC is familiar with this. I'm wondering though, is there a quick way to just fix everyone, like maybe with MCCC? Or is it just a matter of seeing bald townies around town and fixing them one at a time as you see them? (That's what I've always done)

Give them hair though, if you want.I say not the "Modify household" because that will mess up an NPC. Rather the modify the character themself.

Often all three for the price of one. And the only fixes I know of are delete or take them to CAS as you find them. Delete for randoms, CAS for premades.

I guess I'll just be on the lookout for bald sims for a while.I did delete some clothes, but most of those weren't tagged as available for randoms. When I download CAS CC I always open it in Sims 4 Studio and for most clothes I uncheck that if it is checked. I feel there's plenty of clothes available without my townies needing CC. I don't do that for hairs though.

@DaniRose2143 @Stormkeep Now that I'm playing a save that has all my own Sims, or the ones we've added from the Gallery, we don't delete naked/bald/shoeless Sims. We'll lead them into CAS and find them something new to wear.We found a few good Sims that were put in the Gallery in their underthings, so they make their first appearances (un)dressed that way. More than once, they've bombed a good photo by prancing into the scene that way.

@MoonlightGraham If they're in their undies they were uploaded with cc most likely. For me and the level of cc I used to use it was easier to delete than fix. Now it wouldn't be as bad as in the past. Edit: The cc doesn't follow them into the gallery.

Nope!

You can modify each one in the second choice of CAS, not the first one. Give them hair though, if you want.
I say not the "Modify household" because that will mess up an NPC. Rather the modify the character themself.

My CC purges are more comprehensive so I don't just get bald sims, I get naked and shoeless too. Often all three for the price of one. And the only fixes I know of are delete or take them to CAS as you find them. Delete for randoms, CAS for premades.

:lol: @MoonlightGraham, love it when naked townies photo bomb me. I also don't delete naked/bald/shoeless sims. For me it's because I'm old school and back in the TS2 era, deleting townies willy nilly would corrupt your save, so I am just in the habit of not doing it.

I also use MCCC set to pull townies from my gallery rather than just making them randomly, and so I tend to have more attachment to the townies than I would if they were truly just random.

@DaniRose2143 That's what I thought, until I looked; they were called "BaseGame Woman," and things like that. I should have given them some non-CC clothes as soon as we downloaded them, so they're ready to go when MCCC calls for them.

@Stormkeep I don't have TS2. My sister did, and I played it a bit when I was home from college, but it's the one version of The Sims I don't know fairly well. I know it's iconic enough to remain in the memories of those of you who played it.

I've never played TS 2 but I do recall seeing it available in the Apple Appstore. I might have to buy it someday.

This is why, when I see a townie wearing CC, I immediately haul their butts into CAS and replace everything with base game. I don’t have too much hair CC, but way too many sims were showing up pantless after cleaning out my folder.

Before placing downloaded cc into my mods folder, I make a habit of checking if the cc is checked for random and then unchecking it with sims 4 studio.

I just can’t figure out how to disable random cc for spellcasters, while still making it possible for them to wear cc.
