Bath tubs upgrade

So I haven’t played the sims 4 in a few weeks because I have been playing the Sims 3 again but now I noticed that I can not upgrade bath tubs in sims 4 ,every time I try it simply says that she can’t reach the tub which I have moved over and over and over I even place it in the bedrooms and it’s still the same does anyone have this issues ?
