You know what's ironic? This is my only save in which Batuu isn't real, but just a theme park of Disney World. In any other plum save the bug would probably have prompted me to play an amazing storyline about the First Order conquering Earth. But I had to catch this in the Detroit save.

Yes, detective is a finnicky career. I experience lag and lots of sim resetting whenever a co-worker talks into my active detective who is trying to use a computer. It's so common I hardly notice it anymore. And I probably made the cardinal error: rotating away to another household while Hank still had an unsolved case active. Then, when I returned to Hank, that case was hopelessly bugged.
It's still my favorite career out of the active ones, mainly because I enjoy seeing my cops mingle in not just one but up to four different places (station, crime scene, patrol and arrest scene).

Good idea about the combined career! I'd love to have one Batuu themed astronaut career and another one that is more down to earth, closer to what real astronaut life is like (that last one exists as cc, at least).
