There is also silly stuff you can do with (woohoo club etc) or even cheaty stuff( a boost to every skill) but imo this feature shines when it is incorporared to your regular gameplay. Do you have a sim who wants to do something? Why not do it with other sims?

I've done all the above.

Clubs are handy for building relationships. Make a club for two sims you want to put together and have them use a hot tub. Before you know it, they'll be lovers!

Also, Get Together comes with a special interaction where you can attempt to get two sims together, just like a friend telling someone you fancy that you would like to meet them. I've put many a sim together with a potential suitor.
