Hello All,I am sure you all know origin is having a super sale on the first 3 sims 4 expansions right now. They are only like 16 dollars which is less than I paid for parenthood. Parenthood is the only add on I currently have in my game, but this is a pretty great sale on all the EPs besides Pets. Here is my question. Out of Get to Work, Get Together, and City living which do you feel is the best one? I am not sure I am going to buy any of them (half because I am afraid of slowing down my game a lot, since my laptop can barely play it). But if you had to choose between those three, which is your top choice? This is just out of curiosity, like I said I may not buy any of them. I like the idea of Get to Work or City Living maybe, but Get Together seems very lacking in content. But what do you guys think? I need an unbiased opinion :smile:

My preference would be GTW or GT. City Living is very restrictive and doesn't add much to game play at all. The districts are boring to walk around in. The only good district is the Spice district. You can't build apartments anywhere and you can only renovate inside the actual apartments they give you. GTW at least offers active careers, retail, and aliens. GT offers a beautiful world, the club system, cafe venue, and more things to add to bars for sims to do.

None of them is good enough. But Get Together is the best by far.The world is big and beautiful and the club system is a game changer!

Okay not gonna lie watching LGRs review of Get Together and it looks pretty cool. A game that always seemed pretty bland to me looks like it has a lot more features than I realized. The town does look amazing! So that is the top contender so far. I do have to ask does it bog down the game? That is my biggest fear with my integrated card even though I am playing on decent settings currently.

I would go with Get Together. I like the club feature and if anything from the Sims4 is carried onto sims5 I hope the club feature remains.

Alright I bought Get Together since that was without a doubt the highest complimented and it seemed like a much better pack than I originally realized. Praying for very little slow down, but I am for sure nervous. But for 16 dollars it would not be the end of the world if it did. Could have gotten Spa Day and Movie Hangout for only 30 dollars, but seemed like a bad decision if I am worried about slow down lol. Thanks for the input everyone.

Also want to point out the system requirements lied! It is only 1.6GB not 3GB. So that took all of 6 minutes to completely download. Somehow parenthood was slower.

Every single feature in Spa Day can be accessed by placing the premade spa building, which I personally like because I have access to everything in one neat package. :D

Windenburg is pretty huge, but I don't think any of the individual neighborhoods need a lot of processing power, although I could be wrong. The island and the Von Haunt Estate (it's larger than you think) come to mind.

Oh, and I forgot to mention this earlier, but the club system also meshes well with the other packs. You could have a group of middle aged ladies who regularly visit the spa, or in my case, a group of twenty somethings who go bowling every now and then.

Get Together was a game changer for me, and I cannot play The Sims 4 without it now. I also struggle to play The Sims 2 without it, as I love how I can make friendship circles and all of that stuff.

Without it, Sims seem so on their own and boring. It's so amazing to make a group of friends you make hanging around town.

It also compliments Parenthood. I can have sleepovers for kids, I can have gardening clubs for my elders, painting clubs for my parents.

It's just amazing, and the world is STUNNING.
